Oh pity the life of a parky, I’ll never play Jenga again
and the problems of setting a mousetrap, I wont even try to explain
The tying of ties and the zipping of flies are actions inherent with danger
and some of the problems I have in the bathroom are not to be shared with a stranger
Try having a shave with a tremor, or trimming your toes with a twitch
and one of my friends says that putting in lenses is really a son of a …..
Fishing’s a wonderful hobby, if you don’t put the hook in your thumb,
or fall in the river, or tangle your line, or forget why it was that you’ve come
I’m okay at shaking a cocktail, or scrambling an egg for my tea
but chopping a chilli is pretty darn silly when your hand’s like the wings on a bee
It's like living life in slow motion, or watching a film frame by frame
Without medication it’s zombification as pd takes over your brain
The symptoms are really quite dreadful like pain and dystonia and falls
but I’m taking the mick cos tho we may be sick; we don’t want your pity at all
We want nurses and neuros and research, but all of that sadly takes money
so tell your MP to spend more on pd, because being a parky ain’t funny
