My June challenge poem. Better late than never.
I Wonder
As I lie in the winter morning dark
and feel the warmth from your side of the bed.
In between the dreams and
the tossing and the turning
I wonder, do you yearn for the woman I used to be
whilst still loving the one I have become?

This resonates with me. I wrote on this challenge but too late to post
Vulnerability makes us ponder questions unasked for fear of the answers. Liked this thought provoking little wonder.
Wonderful. Concise and a topic that resonates with me too
Yes, surprisingly common thought, concern and may I add understandable. Not confined to the ladies, mine comes from a place where I'm slowly stripped of my status, purpose and sense of worth. I did a totally different poem, same subject. many, many years ago, called 'Turn away' it's also in song, not as good as yours tho Ali'!
A constant thought of mine.
