Hi, I was diagnosed with Idiopathic PD at the age of 45 in 2009.

I've been married to Jo now for 26y and we have two children.

I was born, raised and live North of Leeds, Yorkshire a place

that's a stone's throw from the beautiful Dales but also the towns

of God's own land. In a former life I was a Contact Lens Optician,

but a man twitching towards your eyes is not good for business,

so that was the end of that!

I now write Poetry, create videos and recordings to hopefully

make poems more accessible and interesting to folk who maybe

don't yet enjoy the Art. To me, Poetry is not a hobby or an interest,

it is a passion, a way of being. By that I mean it compliments my

own philosophy, from Poetry I find purpose, Identity and self-worth.

I'm very much into comedy and music and enjoy simple things,

breaking bread with friends, a Pint of fine Ale, and sharing a joke.
