Diagnosed in 2012 at the age of 44 with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease. I started writing a blog in 2017 and shortly after was asked to write a newspaper column for the local paper. I have now written over seventy columns and continue to write my blog under my made up word Parkinality Parkin(son's) (person)ality. I write in the hope that people will feel less alone when living with such a complicated condition, and to spread awareness within the wider community.

I write poetry under the pseudonym The Parkinality Poet. Including both poems about PD and other subjects.
