About
Poetry is something I discovered after my diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease in October 2013. I hit a dark time in my life and struggled to deal with things. It wasn't until November 2019 that I actually started to write. For me poetry has been a way of being heard and of letting go of emotions.I can convey how I truly feel. This has developed into writing about nature, people and anything else that ignites "the feeling or the need" to write. Words are powerful and when written cannot be erased.
