I have written poetry from my teenage years, but shared barely any of it for decades, though I now love 'performing' my poetry, or simply reading it to an audience. I have (self) published three collections: 'Towards Humanity' (2015), 'Plain Song from the Backstreets of Silence' (2020) and 'The Parrot in the Mango Tree' (2023). I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in September 2021, having had seriously debilitating symptoms from around February that year, and a tremor for even longer. I currently feel quite good about how I am with PD, and try to remain positive and upbeat (having been quite a depressive person earlier in life).

I write poetry on a wide range of topics and in a range of styles. I run a 'spoken word' monthly event with my partner, Jackie Biggs, in Cardigan, west Wales, and attend other local poetry events whenever possible.
