This is the writing on the wall,
once posted, fading bill of fayre -
a starter, mains or deserts too -
all pointing from the brick blocked screen.
Foundations sound, though reading close
will give a better view of words,
lines laid out in their different styles,
of common, English, running bond.
With header, stacked in stanzas, some,
that stretcher bonds with audience,
so pupils see and learn new things,
as passing by or loitering.
Blank wall, blank verse or rhyming slang,
graffiti finds itself at home.
