Poets' News November 24

Hello Poetry Lovers,

Many of us saw our first snowflakes of the winter this week. Inspiration for the challenge set by Nigel this month as your poetry prompt. If you've not taken part before, take a look at this one and let your creativity go wild. There are already some excellent submissions.

Or why not join us at this month's Open Mic event on Monday November 25th? Share some of your own poetry or read a favourite. We love finding new voices.

Next month we will have been on The Poets Wall for two years. The poetry remains excellent, the community even more so. We've published our first book (Still available here :-) ), been featured on podcasts, expanded our membership and generally had a great time together promoting the benefits that the art provides for people living with Parkinson's.

Sadly, we still have bills to pay. To keep running things the way we are we need at least £600 to see us through 2025 although it would be nice to have a little more to help with some of the new ideas we'd like to implement. So we're launching our 2025 fundraising appeal now on Go Fund Me here.

Please give what you can and perhaps share the link with family and friends. There are no charges for any of our activities nor does anyone receive any payment. If you've enjoyed your participation or would like to help others to experience the joy that poetry brings on both good days and bad days then here is your chance to help.

Wishing Peace and Love to you all
