Poets' News - July 25

Greetings Poetry Lovers,

It's been a couple of months since we last contacted you all but it's wonderful to see that our poets are still producing delightful and meaningful poetry. The monthly Poetry Club meetings we started this year have been most enjoyable and the quality of work produced shows how well we are learning from each other in developing our art.

However for the next couple of months - July & August - we are suspending Poetry Club and bringing back our Open Mic event. These events will be open to anybody with a connection to Parkinson's who would like to share some poetry. With no detailed critique or obligation to actively contribute you could just come and listen to some of our regulars if you prefer.

Poems are invited on any theme, in any language, or any style (except offensive.) If you haven't joined us for a while, or this is your first time, you will be made very welcome.

On an administrative matter, we are doing some tidying up on the database. If you are a member but haven't logged in for more than a year, you may find that you need to re-register - Just click the New Member application button on the website and we will process that for you
