angels and devils
play together
until the devil wins all
and angels are no more
rules and regulations
bend and break
no more camaraderie
no more best mate
the greed causes poverty
poverty divides
love dies hate wins out
guns and knives are out
liars and cheaters take control
loyalty and fidelity not in vogue
as moral codes crack laws ignored
society disintegrates we need more than hope
fingers crossed full circle will come
when angels will be reborn
the devil cursed
and love will heal the world.
