1. Poesie trifft Parkinson Abend / First ever GERMAN Open Mic Poetry

Unsere Poesie-Abende sind offen für alle, die von Parkinson betroffen sind und Gedichte schreiben, lesen oder lieben. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, ihre Gedichte vorzutragen, sich an der Unterhaltung zu beteiligen oder einfach nur zuzuhören. Wenn Du jemanden brauchst, der Deine Gedichte für Dich liest, lass es uns wissen, und wir können Dirhelfen.

Diese Veranstaltung wird von Katharina Beyer moderiert und findet in deutscher Sprache statt. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn ihr uns eure Gedicht im Voraus mitteilen könntet, damit wir während der Veranstaltung eine Übersetzung zur Verfügung stellen können. Wir bitten alle Teilnehmer, ihre Werke auch bei The Wall einzureichen, damit sie ebenfalls gelesen werden können, natürlich vorbehaltlich aller urheberrechtlichen Beschränkungen.

Das Standardformat unserer Veranstaltung ist, dass jeder, der lesen möchte, abwechselnd ein Gedicht vorträgt. Wir wählen nach dem Zufallsprinzip aus, wer als Nächstes an der Reihe ist, damit es spannend bleibt 😊 Wenn genug Zeit ist, gehen wir für jeden, der ein zweites Gedicht hat, noch einmal in die Runde. Die Veranstaltung wird nicht länger als 90 Minuten dauern. Manchmal halten wir einfach an und unterhalten uns ein bisschen. Es ist eine freundliche, unterstützende Atmosphäre. Sei versichert, dass jeder, der versucht, dies zu ändern, von der Verbindung getrennt wird.

Our poetry events are open to anybody touched by Parkinson’s that writes, reads or loves poetry. You will have the opportunity to share your poetry, join in with the conversation or you can just listen. If you need someone to read your poetry for you please let us know and we can help.

Hosted by Katharina Beyer, this event is held in German. It would help if you could share your poem in advance so we can share a translation during the event. In fact we ask all contributors to also submit their work to The Wall  so they can be read too, subject of course to any copyright constraints..

The standard format of our event is that everyone who wants to read takes a turn to read one poem each. We choose who goes next in a random order to keep it exciting  😊 If there is enough time, we go around again for anyone who has a second. The event will last no longer than 90 minutes. Sometimes we just stop and chat for a bit. It’s a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Rest assured that anyone who tries to change that will be disconnected.
